1、 Ring (inner and outer rings) or washer
The surface on which the rolling element rolls is called the "raceway surface", and this contact surface bears all the loads of the bearing.
Usually, the inner ring is matched with the shaft, while the outer ring is matched with the bearing seat.
In thrust bearings, we generally refer to the ring as the "washer", the inner ring as the "shaft ring", and the outer ring as the "seat ring".
2、 Rolling element
Rolling elements are divided into two categories: balls and rollers. According to the different shapes of the rollers, they are generally divided into cylindrical rollers, needle rollers, tapered rollers, and self-aligning rollers. Geometrically speaking, the contact between the rolling element and the inner and outer raceway surfaces is point contact when the rolling element is a ball, and line contact when it is a roller. In theory, rolling elements revolve while rolling along the raceway surface.
3、 Keep the shelf
The cage does not directly bear the load, it is only used to keep the rolling elements in the correct position at a certain distance, while preventing the rolling elements from falling off during bearing installation. According to different production methods, retaining frames are classified into stamping type, vehicle type, and integrated form retaining frames.
4、 Classification
According to the structure and rolling elements of rolling bearings, they can be divided into two categories: ball bearings and roller bearings.
Ball bearings can be divided into deep groove ball bearings and angular contact ball bearings according to the shape of the raceway surface;
Roller bearings can be divided into cylindrical roller bearings, needle roller bearings, tapered roller bearings, and self-aligning roller bearings according to the shape of the rollers.
From a functional perspective, it can be divided into radial bearings that mainly bear radial loads and thrust bearings that bear axial loads according to the direction of the load they bear.
In addition, bearings can be divided into single row, double row, and four row types based on the number of rolling element columns; It can also be divided into separable bearings and non separable bearings based on whether the inner and outer rings are separable.
1、 Divided by inner and outer circle structure:
Cross roller bearings can be divided into: integral inner ring, integral outer ring, integral inner ring, and integral inner and outer ring according to their structure.
2、 Divided by rolling element structure:
1. Cylindrical roller bearing: The rolling elements of the cross roller bearing are cylindrical rollers arranged vertically at 90 degrees to each other in a V-shaped raceway, separated by isolation blocks between the rollers. This structure can withstand various loads such as axial load, radial load, and overturning load.
Suitable for applications such as joint parts or rotating parts of industrial robots, rotating workbenches of machining centers, rotating parts of robotic arms, precision rotating workbenches, medical equipment, measuring instruments, etc.
2. Cone roller bearing: Cross cone roller bearing is a variant of cross cylindrical roller bearing. The cone rollers are arranged horizontally, and each roller is perpendicular to the adjacent roller. The intersection point of the extension line of the rolling element busbar should be located in the rotation line of the bearing.
Widely applicable to high-speed vertical lathes, high-precision workbenches, vertical boring machines, grinding machine spindles, etc.
