The role and application industry of bearings
2024-11-16
A bearing is a component that supports the rotation of a "shaft" in a machine. In the machine, bearings are responsible for providing support to the "shaft" installed with wheels, gears, turbines, rotors, and other components, helping the shaft rotate smoothly. Due to the use of many rotating "shafts" in various machines, bearings have become essential components and are known as the "food of the mechanical industry". This type of component may not look impressive, but it is actually very important.

The function of a bearing is to act as a bearing. Assuming that the transmission component (such as a shaft) and the hole (such as a shaft) immediately cooperate with each other, one side experiences high frictional resistance while the other side experiences increased wear. The transmission component is difficult to disassemble and replace, while the bearing needs to rely on the flipping contact between the components to support the components of the transmission system.

Therefore, it has the characteristics of low drag friction resistance, low power consumption, and very simple start-up. The key role of load-bearing is to support mechanical rotating workpieces, reduce frictional resistance during motion, and ensure rotational accuracy.

After understanding the role of bearings, let's now learn about the application industry of bearings:

1. High demand bearings are required for mechanical equipment in power plants, gas turbines, and motor plants. This type of machinery and equipment often operate continuously, with high bearing capacity, complicated assembly and disassembly, and inconvenient disassembly. Therefore, it is required that the bearing quality be very stable and have anti wear and compressive strength.

2. Mining plants, mining operations, and beneficiation plants are equipped with rolling machinery and energy bearings.

3. Printing and packaging, packaging machinery and equipment, food industry equipment, unique bearings, and external inclined bearings.

4. Plastic, chemical fiber machinery, plastic film stretching, unique bearings, and high-temperature bearings.

5. Toys, clocks, electronic components, audio-visual materials, machinery and equipment, delicate bearings.

6. Bearings are used for crushing, ceramic machinery, and biotechnology industrial equipment. This type of machinery and equipment has a poor working environment, often with water mist, heavy moisture inside the body, dust, strong oxidants, and other injuries. It requires strong bearing sealing, sufficient and reasonable grease, and it is best to add grease appropriately.

7. Bearings are used in textile products, washing and dyeing, shoe making, and tobacco machinery. This type of bearing is small, exquisite, efficient, sturdy, and durable, requiring a high transmission ratio and low noise

8. Red wine, beverage equipment, and pharmaceutical equipment use bearings.

The importance of bearings can be understood as their use to fix a stationary shaft, allowing it to only rotate while manipulating its axial and radial movements. If the shaft does not have bearings, then the press cannot function properly.
